DESCRIPTION:

Were you put off Shakespeare at school?

If you think you might want to look at the Bard in a new way this is the group for you. I'm not an expert in any way but would like to learn more along with a group of like-minded people.

The aim is to share reading the plays, watch DVDs, see local productions / live streaming / productions at the Globe and Stratford-upon-Avon.

I hope to encourage lots of discussion in trying to understand Shakespeare in the widest context of his time and his relevance today.

It will be a low key friendly group!
