This group is informal and friendly. Our main objective is to make dresses and shorts for 'Dress A Girl Around the World', an international charity that sends clothes (mostly through local Rotary clubs) to impoverished parts of Africa. We also make some craft items to raise money to purchase material and pay the rent on the venue. The patterns are easy to follow and you are not expected to buy material, cotton etc.

There is space if you would like to bring your own sewing machine. We also teach people from scratch so if you just fancy learning a new skill come and see what you think.
