DESCRIPTION:

What is a chow a pung or a kong ?

Could you make a Wriggling Snake, The Gates of Heaven or Triple Knitting?

These are all terms used in a game over 2000 yrs old whose invention is attributed to Confucius.

Revised in the 19th Century, Mah Jong is still an extremely popular game all over the world.

There are several versions of this game, we use the British Rules (with a Rutland twist).

We are a self taught group so, never mind if you have never played before, if you can play Rummy you can play Mah jong.

If you are an experienced player then again you would be most welcome to share your knowledge with us.

If want to see what it is all about, come and join us, it really is fun.

Please note that although the group runs every week there is no need to attend every session.
