VENUE: We visit each other's houses and are now on a steep learning curve, in trying to present the paintings on the T.V. screens. A new 'skill' for most of us but with help from each other, we are succeeding!
DATE AND FREQUENCY: We meet once a month on Friday mornings.
DESCRIPTION: The Art Appreciation Group 2 is an informal, lively, friendly and interested group.
A member chooses an artist for presentation and gives the other members paintings to study and report back to the group.
This provides an interesting study of the artist and a stimulating discussion about the paintings. So far we have covered a wide range of artists, such as The Expressionists, Durer, Miro, English Romantics, Picasso, Velazquez, and Cezanne. We look forward to exploring further artists.
