FREQUENCY: We meet on the second Tuesday of every month from 2pm to 3:30pm

VENUE: We meet in The Snug at The Wisteria Hotel in Oakham where there is an expectation that a tea or coffee is purchased.

DESCRIPTION

We are a friendly group interested in the different aspects of British History and their impact on Society, ranging from the Stone Age to the last decade. Two or three members research a topic in detail and report back to the group on the aspects of the work that have interested them. Friendly and informal discussion then takes place. Topics recently considered include: The Romans, The Industrial Revolution and Bletchley Park.
